It looks like the Runaway Cow is going to live out her days in peace & tranquility: the owner is apparently going to sell her rather than let her be slaughtered, due to the huge outpouring of public support and sympathy. The cow has been nicknamed “Molly B,” as in “The Unsinkable Molly Brown.” Go Molly B!
My vote was for Molly. Keep me updated on where her new home will be. You go girl!!!!!
Incredible story about Molly B. and a telling story at that. Kudos to the meat packing manager who was able to see the courage and value in Molly as a sentient animal. I hope a reputable website takes up support on her behalf. Now to cut back on meat! Little by little, better for our health, the animals, our environment, and better for the global scene of poverty and use of resources.
