Chatted with a friend the other day about the Great Falls Pachyderm Club; it’s a Republican-themed civic organization that holds weekly meetings at the 3D International restaurant in Black Eagle. Their website needs a little updating, I noticed. I haven’t been to a meeting yet, but certainly sounds interesting (and 3D is pretty good). Any of you folks been?

You are right, the web site is horribly out of date, I will see what I can do about that as well. The Great Falls Pachyderm Club holds it’s annual dinner in early December and then does not meet again until January. The next meeting is January 5th and I happen to be the speaker. The public is always welcome to attend. I think you would enjoy the variety of speakers as well as the give and take during the Q&A. I hope to see you there.
I recommend it. I can’t often make it (noon on Thursdays), but they get great speakers, including civic organizations, city staff, politicians/candidates, and other government folks.
Great way to find out the details the Trib somehow misses, as well as a chance to throw some hard questions at folks who’ve got the answers. Well worth the time, and the Pachyderm folks are quite friendly & welcoming.
Food-wise, the 3D usually has a lunch special, or you can get Mongolian Grill for $6.95.
I am a former member. It is a great group, and gives you a chance to enjoy the Mongolian Grill every Thursday!
