Well, this certainly looks promising: The Hangout. I’m not sure when it opened, but it’s fairly recent, I believe. Plenty of activities for everyone: billiards, air-hockey, internet access, foosball, snacks & beverages, darts, videogames, and more. No drugs, no alcohol, no smoking, no gambling. The Hangout is located at 5501 9th Avenue South, and you can call them at 453.1099 for more information. Definitely plan to check this out!
UPDATE: sadly, The Hangout didn’t last…it was closed in the Fall of 2006. Good idea, but I think that the location was a big factor in its’ demise. Too far out — the farthest location on the East side of town — not near any shopping center, mall, or other social location.
